New fresh logo design. I did a logo refresh for the podcast. When I first came up with the design concept (I've told the story of the Whitey book, in the Maine cabin, anyway) I wanted a few things:
-true and crime in the name
-images that weren't graphic but portrayed the kind of podcast it was
I worked on some ideas. What I came up with was based on the show, Ozark, when each episode had a graphic with items, a foreshadowing of what would surface in the episode. I released a few early episodes with this design. I soon beefed it up with some of the graphics skills I'd picked up. Fast forward to last year, when I seriously evaluated the images. It mattered a lot. When you start to work with families, you get a new understanding of what impacts families and survivors of traumatic events.
And I started to cringe at my own merch (stickers I didn't want kids to see, stuff like that), I got to reworking it. It took me a while, back and forth, go too busy, went back to it. Then, I planned to attend a new conference called Advocacy Con. Its inagural event was in March in Indianapolis, and that was my target.
I did away with most of the old merch designs and posted a lot of refreshed items. Check out the store. Use code SPRING25 for a good deal.
